New 3 day weekend meet for the only Scottish Hot Air Balloon Festival held in Scotland at Nether Lethame Farm.

Eco farm with 19 Jersey cows and 300 chickens, free range eggs, farm fresh jersey milk, teas, coffees, ice cream and milkshakes.
Balloon Festival: 🎈 Balloon flights (weather permitting) 6pm Friday, 6am Saturday (Early start!) ; 6pm Saturday. All visible from site.
Free entry to event park Sat & Sun from 12md - 30 min walk from site- family funday, live music, fun fare, parachutists, classic cars, stalls galore & more.
2025 Balloon Festival Meet
Strathaven Balloon Festival Campsite.
What a weekend it was at Nether Lethame Farm for the Strathaven Balloon Festival! 🎈 From our campsite we had the perfect view – balloons floated overhead morning and evening, giving everyone that magical festival feeling right from their pitch. One even landed on our camping field!
The Balloonist was fantastic and let all the children have a stand in the basket. Our hosts at the farm added to the experience with their farm shop. Campers enjoyed the taste of fresh Jersey cow milk, indulgent milkshakes, homemade ice cream, as well as eggs, tea, coffee, cakes and waffles – the perfect fuel before or after balloon-spotting.
It was a weekend full of colour, community, and countryside charm – the kind of camping memories that last a lifetime.
